HEC Paris is one of the foremost choices for students seeking top-notch graduate business education in Europe. Established in 1881, the school offers an MBA program that is reputable and well connected throughout the continent and internationally. HEC’s excellent industry access is further reinforced by an alumni network of nearly 70,000 living in 152 countries around the world. HEC offers a 16-month long MBA program. It has two intakes a year in January and September, with a typical class size of nearly 300 students. Its Paris location makes HEC particularly attractive to the marketers of the world; 24% of the students enrolled in the MBA class of 2020 were from marketing or sales backgrounds, one of the highest rates among all schools. The HEC MBA is ripe with entrepreneurial opportunities as well, which include possible funding by the HEC Paris incubator located in Station F, the world’s largest startup campus with +1,000 companies. Globally-minded students may also participate in exchange programs at one of HEC’s 30 partner schools worldwide, which include five of the top 10 schools in the US. 

The MBA class of 2020 saw a majority of students pursuing consulting at 26%, followed by tech at 23% with finance coming in third at 13%. Retail and CPG were also popular choices with 12% combined, among the highest rates of any school. 32% of graduates stayed in France after graduation, 29% relocated to outer Europe, and 20% moved to Asia Pacific.
